Could be your blower relay fuse 20, 30A. Could be your blower relay. Positive 12V from the relay comes into the FSU on pin 2 GRN/BRN. Ignition needs to be in position 2. The blower motor wires on the FSU connector are Pin 1, BRN/YEL and Pin 5, GRN/YEL. No indication of polarity except that most of the ground wires are brown. But, you might try To do proper trouble-shooting, you need to draw the pinout for the Connector itself! #1 and #5 are Ground (-) and Positive (+) for the Blower Motor. #2 is hot with 12V all the time (protected by Fuse 76). #4 is Ground to chassis. #3 is signal from the HVAC Panel. SOURCE: LOCATION FAN RELAY. The relay is under the right front headlamp assembly and bracket. You can access it two ways. Remove the front bumper facia, headlights, and bracket assembly. The grill is part of the facia and the headlight bracket runs all the way across the front. Or you can remove the right headlamp and use a hole saw to cut Hi all, My BMW X5 E70 with N52 engine 3.0 si never turns on the radiator cooling fan - not when you first start the car, and not even sitting in traffic. The fan and relay are both good, plus I've got 12V, a good ground and a 100Hz signal at the fan, and if I pull the coolant temp sensor wire while the engine's running, the car immediately my battery has been giving a discharge error, probably original battery. so i needed a boost today. after the boost i noticed that the heater blower will only work on defrost. any idea if something broke because of the boost. i can hear the actuators work -- fresh air, recirculate. ac etc. but the blower wont adjust on auto or manual. There are 3 different heater configurations for the E70: Basic (with 6 flap motors), IHKA-2 zone (with 10 flap motors) and IHKA 4-zone (13 flap motors). The last configuration also means that an FKA (rear seat control panel), more air ducts are present and a separate rear blower motor is present. My E70 has 4-zone IHKA climate control. Fuse and relay box diagrams for BMW X5 G05 G18 (2018 -2024) with location, photos and description of purpose. Cigarette lighter fuse. The system is equipped with stepper motors (4 motors for '97 models and 6 motors for '98 on) that control air distribution flaps. The motors are controlled by the IHKA Control module via the M-Bus. All of the motor processors receive the same signal but only the addressed motor will respond and move to the desired position. r6vvBb.
